About Kardio Karaoke
Equal parts athletic challenge, musical performance, and controlled chaos. We take fitness seriously. We don't take ourselves seriously at all.
What Is Kardio Karaoke?
Two contestants step onto treadmills and take turns singing lines from a karaoke track — while running. Between verses, a wheel is spun for the currently singing contestant, adding a physical challenge they have to complete mid-lyric: a sprint, an incline increase, or something else designed specifically to make singing impossible.
At the end of the episode, the audience votes for who performed best. Because singing breathlessly on a treadmill is inherently subjective, inherently funny, and somehow also genuinely impressive.
Take turns singing
Contestants alternate lines of a karaoke track, running the whole time.
Spin the wheel
After singing a verse, each contestant spins a wheel of physical challenges.
Execute the challenge
Sprint, incline, carry a weight — whatever the wheel says, they have to do it.
Audience decides
Viewers vote for the winner. Athletic performance and vocal quality both count.
Fitness Should Be Fun
We genuinely believe that the best workout is one you actually want to do. Kardio Karaoke is our attempt to prove that you can be a serious athlete and have a completely ridiculous time doing it.
Real effort, real fitness
Our contestants are athletes. The treadmill speeds are real. The inclines are punishing. This isn't a joke — it just looks like one.
Accessible by design
You don't need to be an elite runner to appreciate what's happening. You just need to enjoy watching someone try to hit a high note at 8mph.
Community driven
The audience decides who wins. Viewers submit wheel challenge ideas. The show grows with the people who watch it.
Think You Can Handle It?
We're always looking for contestants — whether you're a seasoned runner who secretly loves karaoke, or a karaoke legend who's never set foot on a treadmill. Both types tend to make great TV.
You don't need to be a professional athlete. You do need to be reasonably fit, have a good sense of humour, and be comfortable with the fact that whatever happens will be on YouTube forever.
- Comfortable running at 5mph+ for 20+ minutes
- Willing to sing on camera (quality optional)
- Based in or able to travel to our filming location
